are eligible to receive a visit this school year.

Your students will be inspired by a Champion
Jamal grew up in Southern California and is from where many of your students are. His unique way of sharing the importance of disability awareness, swim education, and celebrating differences will stick with your students through the school year.
A story about overcoming fear and learning to swim
Jamal's 30-minute message is appropriate for all ages. In addition to a verbal message many students will take home this children's book, Samy Swims, which is at a 2nd-4th grade reading level. Free hard copies will be given to 2nd - 4th-grade students while supplies last.
Complete with teacher's guide
Sammy's swim journey is an opportunity to entertain and challenge students through fun storytelling. Every teacher receives a curriculum guide incorporating math, social-emotional learning, English language arts, social studies, and community-building skills like "How to be a Friend, into pre-prepared lesson plans.
Downloadable coloring activities
This activity book is separate from the hardcover, Sammy Swims, with illustrations. It will encourage students to express their artistic side while providing teachers with another in-class resource tool.
Swim UP Hill 100% Guarantee
Upon request, any school interested will receive enrollment vouchers for no-cost youth swim lessons to provide their student body.
"Hill embodies a combination of the competitive swimming
spirit of Michael Phelps with the self-determination, community advocacy and direct agency of Nipsey Hussle."
